Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a popular Indian actress who is best famous for her role in Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. In the late 80s when she started her acting career. She became well-known for the character Tezaab, in which she starred with veteran actor Anil Kapooor. Then she appeared in the film Dil in which she shared the screen with Aamir Khan. Born into a middle-class family in Mumbai she was able to learn dancing at a young age. While still a teenager she attempted acting, but the majority films she attempted to make were unsuccessful. Eventually, she found success with Indian filmmaking and rose to the top. The actress took a hiatus from her career following her marriage before returning to the industry of entertainment. In recent times, she was one of the main characters in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit is nominated to win 15 Filmfare Awards, out of which she was awarded eight. Padma Shri - the fourth most prestigious civilian award of India is awarded to Dixit. Also, she is well known for her charitable works.
